Starting at the top of the month, I got my butt kick playing DDR (Dance Dance Revolution for those of you who don't know) while waiting for a movie, but had fun none the less. By the way, Push was a horrible movie. Don't waste your time or money. Birthday guys and gal included my friend Chad turning 21; Jeannie, one of my oldest and dearest friends, turned 26 and her brother, Jimmy, celebrated his birthday this month. I made 3 trips to City Walk's Rising Star. I'm not sure if I mentioned Rising Star before, but it's a karaoke bar they have at Universal's City Walk. Most nights they have a live band, a host and backup singers. I ended up singing 2 of my 3 trips, but never got to sing my 1st choice song (Carrie Underwood's Before He Cheats). Both times the person right before me sang my 1st choice. Can I just tell you how annoyed I was the 1st time and than just plain pissed the second time it happened. I am determined to sing that song in the near future. Nothing will stop me!
The birthdays and karaoke outings weren't the only fun, social things I did last month. I've been dying to do a park day, but couldn't find anyone who was will and/or had the time to do it. After complaining about it to a co-worker and finding she had the same problem, we planned to do a park day. When we finally get our day in the park, it's cold. That means no water rides and freeze your fingers off on the roller coasters. Let me tell you, the realization that we were going to freeze didn't hit us until we were sitting in the front row of the Incredible Hulk coaster getting ready to launch. It was so cold that my eyes dried out instantly causing me to cry and having the tears streaming from my eyes as we sped through loops and turns. It was a good 10-15 minutes afterwards before I could feel my fingers again. The same thing happened again when we went on Dueling Dragons. You think we would've learned our lesson, but noooo. All in all it was a fun day in the park.
Speaking if the park, work is now going a little better and things are looking up. After a failed attempted to getting into the lead pool and months of bugging the hell out of my supervisor, I finally interviewed for a position at an attraction were the experience will help move me up in the company. March 7th will be my last day at Shrek as a henchman and starting March 8th I become a minion at Revenge of the Mummy. It's an indoor roller coaster that happens to be my favorite ride in all of Universal. From what I'm told, I will pretty much be fast tracked to become a trainer. That will put me in a good position for lead pool interviews in August. I'm hoping everything will go well and that the people over there are as cool as the people at Shrek. I'll miss Shrek a lot, but I am looking forward to the opportunities this move could open up. Change is good and necessary thing.
So that's pretty much what's been going in my life. Below are some pictures of the February fun.

As always, I hope everything is going well for you all wherever you may be. Have a great March and remember to keep in touch. :o)
