It's Been Freakin' Forever!!!

I feel kinda bad for not updating this for the past few months, so here it goes. I'm still living in Orlando and working at Universal. My trainer status was reinstated and I began training again. A good chunk of the new Mummy crew was trained by me. My first trainee just happened to be the new supervisor for the new Mummy at Universal Singapore. Talk about pressure. Anyways, since switching attractions I've met a lot of interesting people and made some new friends. I've been unusually social the last few months. I'd say going to (and throwing) parties, poker nights, pool days, dinners and randomly hanging out is incredibly active for me.

I'm still looking for a better job, but haven't found anything thus far. It's so frustrating to apply for jobs you know you are more than qualified for and don't hear back anyone. This is especially true when other people are getting call backs. Such is life, I guess. It is because of this job situation and my impending lease expiration (in September) that my dad has been pushing for me to get a job back in Stuart. I was even considering it for a while. After a LOT of thinking, I came to realization that I just can't move back there. I love Stuart and my family, but I've gotten used to living away from all of it and I honestly like that. Maybe when I'm older and have a family of my own I might move back, but right now I'm happy here in Orlando. I'm determined to find a way to stay here and make this work. Besides, the idea of up and moving to another town (even Stuart) is just not appealing. I'm comfortable here. Orlando has been my home for the past 3 years and I'm not ready to leave just yet.

Anyways, I'm getting ready to head back to Stuart for a nice 4-day weekend. I'm going down there for my best friend's baby shower. I'm super excited because I haven't seen Amelia in over a year. That is just way too long in my opinion. It's crazy how fast life passes us by. I remember having sleepovers at her house when we were kids and now she's ready to pop out one of her own. She's not the only one of my close friends to have a kid recently. My old college roommate, Frances, just had a beautiful baby boy last month and my childhood friend, Jean, is also pregnant with her 3rd child. I'm betting on a boy to go with her 2 girls. I love them all and wish them the best of luck with their new and growing families.

I think that's probably everything. I've included some pics from the past few months below.

As always, I hope everything is going well with all of you and remember to keep in touch.
